AVID 2011-2012

Our certification visit was completed on Wednesday, May 11th. We are proud to announce that, overall, AVID students had higher ACT scores, Grade Point Averages (GPAs), and honors enrollment than students NOT in AVID. Once again, our AVID seniors applied to, and were accepted to, colleges, and will proudly represent the program on Friday, May 20th at graduation in their green cords. Enrollment in AVID is up, again, and all classes are full for the 2011-2012 school year.

New AVID requirement

ALL students enrolled in AVID, regardless of grade level, MUST enroll in at least one Honors or Advanced Placement (AP) course each semester during the 2011-2012 school year. Please make sure that you are aware of this requirement for next year. See your AVID teacher or counselor if you have any questions or concerns.
AVID Applications Now Available!

If you are interested in joining the AVID program for the 2010-2011 school year, applications are available in room 218 or in the counseling office.
